Here you will find everything you need to know about access, parking, and loading and unloading at Pelican Ellebjerg Valby. You need the Pelican app to gain access.
How to get in
Once your move-in date has started, you have access to the centre from 05:30–22:00 every day, 365 days a year.
To get in:
- Download the Ellebjerg Access app to your phone; you can also use the link sent to you.
- Check that Bluetooth and location services are enabled, and that you are standing close to the entrance.
- Allow location sharing for the app in your phone’s settings.
To access your storage unit, you must go through the gate and into the loading bay.
Find “Gate in” in the app and swipe to open.
Unlock
Here you can easily drive your car or trailer in, so you can unload in dry weather and access the lifts.
NOTE: If your car/van is higher than 2.80 metres, it is too tall to drive through the gate into the hall. Drive through the grille gate instead. Open the gate in the app “Gate to garages”.
Here you can park your van/trailer, unload, and enter via the sliding door. For loading and unloading only.
To exit, follow the road around the building and drive out through the exit gate on the other side. Tap “exit gate” in the app.
Customer trolleys
Inside the loading bay, there are customer trolleys available for free use.
Please help the next customer and return the trolleys when you are finished.
Overview of floors and access to the lift
By the lifts, there are signs with an overview of where you can find the unit numbers on the different floors.
Find your unit number in the app and see which floor you need to go to.
The first digit of your unit number is the floor you need to go to. Example: Unit 2306 is on the 2nd floor.
Call either lift A or B by tapping one of them in the app, and immediately afterwards press the floor you need inside the lift.
It is important that you press the floor button quickly after activating it in the app.
Find your unit
When you reach the floor where your unit is located, you can easily find it by following the numbers and signs, or by tapping “Find unit” in the app.
By tapping “Find unit”, you can activate an alarm at your unit, so you can locate it by the sound of the alarm.
Start using your unit
Once you have found your unit, you can now unlock the lock/unit via your app.
Tap your unit number in the app; the lock will then open automatically and the light next to the unit will turn green.
Open the unit by sliding the metal rail on the door to the side, and the door can be opened.
Inside the unit, a welcome bag will be ready for you with an information letter, which you are welcome to read through and keep.
You can now start using the unit.
How to lock the unit
When the unit needs to be locked, simply close the door and the light next to the unit will turn red.
For a standard door, the metal rail must be pushed back in, and the unit will be locked.
For a garage door, simply roll the door down, and the unit will be locked.
Check that the light is red before you leave the premises.
Exit
To go down by lift, simply press “0” with the green ring around it. It is not necessary to use the app when you are going down by lift again.
Customer toilets are located on the ground floor – use the app and then press 0 without the green ring for access to the toilet.
