Access to Pelican
Virum
Here you will find everything you need to know about access, parking, and loading and unloading at Pelican Virum. You need the Pelican app to gain access.
Pelican Smart Access
Open Pelican Smart Access and press the + sign at the bottom.
Enter the code you received by SMS when booking your room.
Unlock
You will now see Pelican Virum in the app, which you need to click on.

In here you now have an overview of all the access points you have access to, as well as other relevant information about your storage unit.
Open gate or door
Unloading/loading area
Do you have rooms that start with:
1xxx: You have rooms in the building to the left. You need to use your code at the black sliding door or at the gate to the left of the front desk.
2xxx: You have rooms in the building to the left in the basement. Use your code at the black sliding door and turn left at the tall chimney. Your room is down the ramp.
3xxx: You have rooms in the building to the right behind the black door. You will need your code at the black sliding door. There are two doors on the side of the building and one in the gable. On the doors it is indicated in which number series you should use.
4xxx: You have a room in the second building on the right, behind the black gate. You need your code at the black sliding door Your room has direct gate access from the area.
5xxx: You have a room in the second building on the right, behind the black door. You need your code at the black sliding door The room is inside the door.
7xxx: You have rooms in the first building on the right. The room is in the basement. There are both stairs and elevator. The stairs are behind the black glass door and the elevator is in the wooden tower. Use your code to unlock the door or call the elevator.
Customer trolleys
Customer carts can be found at entrances or along the main aisles. There is a limited number of trolleys, so use a maximum of 2 per customer so there are trolleys for everyone.
Help the next customer and please put the carts back when you’re done.
Overview – find your unit
At all entrances you will find a floor plan.
The red dot marks where you are standing and on the overview you need to find your room number and then find your way to it.
Start using your unit
Once you have found your unit, double-check the unit number. The correct unit is the one closest to the label with your unit number.
Open the door by sliding the metal rail to the right. Inside the unit, you will find a welcome box with an insurance-approved cylinder lock, the corresponding keys, and an information letter, which you should read and keep.
Your unit is now ready to use.
How to lock and open the unit
How to lock the unit
Close the door and slide the metal rail all the way to the left. Insert the cylinder lock into the hole, turn the key to the left, and remove it.
If the lock is difficult to insert, the two dots on the cylinder should face upwards and align.

How to open the unit
Insert the key into the lock, turn to the right, and pull out the cylinder. Slide the metal rail all the way to the right and open the door.
