Access to Pelican
Skovlunde
Here you’ll find everything you need to know about access, parking, and loading and unloading at Pelican Skovlunde. You need the Pelican app to gain access.
Arrival/Drive-in
Once the move-in date of your room has started, you have access to the center from 05.30 – 22.00 every day – 365 days a year.
You find the entrance to the center by driving in from Mileparken, where Sunset Boulevard and the OK tank are located.
Drive straight ahead and turn right at the bottom.
The gate
The gate is open on weekdays from 09:30-18:00, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00-14:00. If you use the center outside these times, the gate is closed and you must use your app to open it.
How to get in
To access your storage unit for the first time, download the Pelican Smart Access app on your mobile phone. It’s important that you have mobile data enabled, as it requires internet to use the app and gain access.
Pelican Smart Access
Open Pelican Smart Access and press the + sign at the bottom.
Enter the code you received by SMS when booking your room.
Unlock
You will now see Pelican Skovlunde in the app, which you need to click on.
Access points
In here you now have an overview of all the access points you have access to, as well as other relevant information about your storage unit.
Unloading/loading area
Here you can easily drive your car, trailer or moving van into our loading and unloading area. You’ll be close to the entrance and can unload in dry weather.
Make sure you leave room for all customers to be there and park on the sides.
Entrance to the centre
To open the sliding doors, open the app and find the number 2.
Swipe right and the sliding door will open.
Customer trolleys
Inside the loading/unloading area, there are customer trolleys you can use free of charge.
There is a limited number of trolleys, so please use a maximum of 2 per customer so there are trolleys for everyone.
Help the next customer and please put the carts back when you’re done.
Overview of floors and access to the lift
By the elevators there are signs with an overview of where to find the room numbers on the different floors.
Find your room number in the app and see which floor you are going to. For your information, the first number in your room number is the floor you are going to.
Example: Room 2306 is on the 2nd floor.
Call either the left or right elevator via the app.
Floor overview – find your unit
When you get to the floor where your room is located, you’ll find signs with room numbers to help you find your room.
If your room number is on a straight hallway, go left.
If the room number is on an odd aisle, go to the right.
Example: Room 2405 – go left.
Start using your unit
Once you have found your room, it is very important that you double check that you are standing by the correct room number. To find your room, make sure you take the room closest to the room number (sticker) you have been given.
Open the room by pushing aside the metal rail on the door and the door will open. Inside the room, a welcome box is ready for you, in which you’ll find a new security-approved cylinder lock and keys. There is also an information letter that you are welcome to read through and save.

How to lock the unit
Close the door and slide the metal rail all the way to the left. Insert the cylinder lock into the hole, turn the key to the left, and remove it.
If the lock is difficult to insert, the two dots on the cylinder should face upwards and align.

How to open the unit
Insert the key into the lock, turn to the right, and pull out the cylinder. Slide the metal rail all the way to the right and open the door.

Pelican Skovlunde is located close to Ballerup Boulevard and Frederikssundsvej, with easy access from both Hillerødmotorvejen and Motorring 4. From here, both private individuals and businesses in Skovlunde, Ballerup, Herlev and Copenhagen can easily get to their storage unit or warehouse.
