Here you’ll find everything you need to know about access, parking, and loading and unloading at Pelican Damhus Valby. You need the Pelican app to gain access.

You will now see Pelican Valby in the app, which you need to click on.
Access points
In here you now have an overview of all the access points you have access to, as well as other relevant information about your storage unit.
Open gate or door
To open access, find the number next to the gate/door you are standing at. Find the number in the app and swipe right. The access will now open and will close again automatically.
Unloading/loading area
Here you can easily drive your car, trailer or moving van directly to our loading and unloading area.
You can park close to the entrance and use the covered loading area, allowing you to load and unload in dry conditions whatever the weather.
To exit again, you must use the exit gate at the other end, as it is one-way.
Entrance to the centre
To open the sliding doors, open the app and find the number 2.
Swipe right and the sliding door will then open.
Customer trolleys
When you enter the loading hall, there are customer trolleys that you can use free of charge.
There is a limited number of trolleys, so please use a maximum of 2 per customer, so there are trolleys for everyone.
Help the next customer and please put the carts back when you’re done.
Overview of floors and access to the lift
By the elevators there are signs with an overview of where to find the room numbers on the different floors.
Find your room number and see which floor you are going to. For your information, the first number in your room number is the floor you are going to.
Floor overview – find your unit
When you get to the floor where your room is, you’ll find an overview of the entire floor on the wall by the elevators.
The red dot marks where you are standing and on the overview you need to find your room number and then find your way to it.
Start using your unit
Once you have found your unit, double-check the unit number. The correct unit is the one closest to the label with your unit number.
Open the door by sliding the metal rail to the right. Inside the unit, you will find a welcome box with an insurance-approved cylinder lock, the corresponding keys, and an information letter, which you should read and keep.
Your unit is now ready to use.

How to lock the unit
Close the door and slide the metal rail all the way to the left. Insert the cylinder lock into the hole, turn the key to the left, and remove it.
If the lock is difficult to insert, the two dots on the cylinder should face upwards and align.

How to open the unit
Insert the key into the lock, turn to the right, and pull out the cylinder. Slide the metal rail all the way to the right and open the door.

Pelican Valby is located at the intersection of Roskildevej and Peter Bangs Vej. The centre is easy to reach from Frederiksberg, Vanløse and the surrounding areas.
