Access to Pelican
Gladsaxe
Here you will find everything you need to know about access, parking, and loading and unloading at Pelican Gladsaxe. You need the Pelican app to gain access.
Pelican Smart Access
Open Pelican Smart Access and tap the + sign at the bottom.
Enter the code you received by SMS when you booked your unit.
Unlock
You will now see Pelican Gladsaxe in the app, which you should tap.
Access points
Here you will now have an overview of all the access points you can use, as well as other relevant information about your storage unit.
Open gate or door
To open access, find the number shown next to the gate/door you are standing by. Find the number in the app and swipe to the right. Access will now open and will close automatically again.
Unloading/ loading area
Here you can easily drive your car, trailer, or moving van into our loading and unloading area. This means you are closer to the entrance and can unload in dry weather.
It is important that you only drive into the hall when the traffic light is green.
Parking is permitted for a maximum of 1 hour in the standard parking spaces on our premises.
(Please note: there is no time limit when you are parked in the loading and unloading area, as long as you are loading or unloading.)
Customer trolleys
When you enter the loading hall, there are customer trolleys that you can use free of charge.
There is a limited number of trolleys, so please use a maximum of 2 per customer, so there are trolleys for everyone.
Please help the next customer and return the trolleys when you are finished.
Overview of floors and access to the lift
To use the lift, open the app and find the number 2.
Swipe right and the lift will open, and you can enter and press the floor you need.
Inside the lift, there are signs showing where you can find the unit numbers on the different floors.
Find your unit number and see which floor you need.
Unit no.: 1000–2999 and 5000–5499 are on the 1st floor. (Please note: if your unit is on the 1st floor, you can also use the door at the top of the ramp, to the right of the lift.)
Unit no.: 3000–4999 and 6000–6199 are on level -1.
Floor overview – find your unit
When you arrive on the floor where your unit is located, you will find an overview of the entire floor on the wall outside the lift.
The red dot marks where you are standing, and on the overview you must then find your unit number and then find your way to it.
Entrance behind the building
It is also possible to access your storage unit from the rear of the building if your unit is located in that area.
You can access the entrance by driving in via Buddingevej 306 instead, or by driving through the unloading hall and turning left.
Gate 5
Drive along the building until you reach entrance gate 5.
Open the gate via the app and drive into the area.
Gate 6
Here you can easily drive your car, trailer, or moving van into our loading and unloading area at gate 6.
This means you are closer to the entrance and can unload in dry weather.
Exit
To exit again, continue driving around until you reach another gate.
Open the gate using the app.
Start using your unit
Once you have found your unit, it is very important that you double-check that you are at the correct unit number. To find your unit, make sure you choose the unit closest to the unit number (sticker) you have been given.
Open the unit by sliding the metal rail on the door to the right, and the door can be opened, or the shutter can be pushed up. Inside the unit, a welcome box is ready for you. It contains a new security-approved cylinder lock with matching keys. There is also an information letter, which you are welcome to read and keep.
You can now start using the unit.
How to lock and open the unit
To lock the unit, close the door and slide the metal rail to the left as far as it will go so the door is held shut. Then insert the cylinder lock into the lock hole in the door, turn the key to the left, and remove the key – the unit is locked.
If you have problems inserting the cylinder lock into the door
There are 2 small dots on the cylinder lock. If you hold the cylinder lock so the two dots are at the top and aligned, you can easily insert the lock into the hole (see picture).

To open the unit again
Insert one of the 3 keys into the cylinder lock and turn the key to the right, then pull the cylinder out of the door. Slide the metal rail all the way to the right, and the door can now be opened.

The store’s opening hours are Mon–Fri: 09:30–18:00, Sat: 10:00–14:00.
Check that mobile data is enabled and that you are close to the place you want to open
Allow location sharing for the app in your phone settings
In an emergency outside store opening hours, call +45 33 98 60 06 to reach our security control centre.
