Organize your home in just 30 days
Organize your home in just 30 days - are you up for the challenge?
Organizing your entire home at once can seem like a daunting project. However, you can take it easy. With the help of American professional organizer Ellen Delap, we've tailored a month-long daily to-do list that will make it easier for you to organize your home and make everyday life work better than before.
Remember, instead of selling, donating, recycling or throwing away your stuff, you can choose to store the most important things that seem useless at the moment. A less organized storage unit works well as an extended part of the home.
Day 1: Set goals
Think about your goals and what you want to achieve once your home is organized. Write down your goals and note the daily tasks in your calendar so you remember what you need to do every single day. That way, you'll easily and steadily move towards your goals.
Day 2: Surfaces filled with random objects
Spend a day going through the different surfaces in your apartment including kitchen tables, coffee tables and bookshelves. They magnetize a wide variety of different objects that either have their own place or belong in the trash or recycling.
